Zombie Apocalypse.

It's not a proper cultural interest, but what can i say. i've been fascinated with zombies my entire life.

Animated dead in particular. With the exception of Italian Giallos, any other specific form of horror fare leaves me bored. Not so with the 56 and counting zombie movies i've collected over time. Not to mention novels, or encyclopedias, or survival horror games and guides. Even merchandise related to said survival horror games. i only blow the dust off one of my playforms (or go buy a new one) when a new game comes out, which isn't even once a year.

This year i bought my boyfriend an X-Box 360 for Christmas. i've never really played a game system in a few years, with the exception of Resident Evil Zero, and couldn't really care less. But he knows my weaknesses, and got something called Left 4 Dead. And now i just can't stop. My insatiable craving pushes my game session durations even past his limits.

We're going to get X-Box live and such in a few weeks, and i can't wait to do this whole 'playing with others online' thing. If anyone swings that way, maybe we could hook up and explode rotted heads like swollen ticks together. It's a panic and scream-inducing thrill i can't seem to get enough of. But we finally took time out today to create a long-overdue gingerbread house. Which will soon be suffering from an unfortunate delicious demise not covered by our property insurance.

Until then...

I hope you and your boyfriend have the Happiest of New Year's my friend!

Having seen both of my son's and their wives go through a WoW addiction, I'm terrified of MMO's...I know me far too well!

:o)
